Job & Responsibilities:
- As an MEP Design Engineer, you will lead and execute the full-cycle design of mechanical, air-conditioning, and fire services systems, primarily for Hong Kong projects. You’ll collaborate closely with consultants, clients, and contractors to ensure the successful delivery of high-performance, sustainable systems.
- Design and coordinate MEP systems, focusing on mechanical, HVAC, and fire protection.
- Develop schematic designs, detailed layouts, and construction reviews.
- Prepare design documentation, tender drawings, and cost estimates.
- Conduct technical analysis and design optimization for quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders and ensure compliance with standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in MEP / HVAC / Fire Services system design.
- Knowledge of heat load calculations, VRV/VRF systems, PAU, AHU, and chilled water systems.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Familiar with international design and pre-construction standards.
- Able to read/write Chinese; Cantonese-speaking preferred.
- Strong in communication, coordination, and problem-solving.
