Position Overview

The Merchant Support Specialist plays a key role in supporting COD Group’s regional merchant ecosystem across Hong Kong, China, and Malaysia. This position is responsible for onboarding merchants onto digital marketplace platforms, maintaining eShop and POI (Points of Interest) content accuracy, and ensuring smooth daily platform operations.

You will work closely with merchants to guide them through setup, optimize product and content listings, and handle operational enquiries via instant messaging platforms. This role also involves conducting daily system checks, updating operational manuals, and assisting with ad-hoc support tasks assigned by supervisors.

Job & Responsibilities:

  1. Provide account servicing to merchant partners for the setup of:
    • eShops
    • Points of Interest (POI) information pages on regional marketplace platforms
  2. Advise merchants on:
    • Product content optimization
    • Operational arrangements
    • Best practices for eShop and POI service performance
  3. Conduct Daily Health Checks to ensure the stability and smooth operation of platforms.
  4. Prepare and update Operation Manuals and workflow documentation.
  5. Manage and respond to merchant and user enquiries via instant messaging platforms (e.g., WeChat).
  6. Support supervisors with additional tasks and operational requirements as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Detail-oriented, able to follow SOPs and maintain accuracy in merchant information.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to learn system functions quickly and troubleshoot basic operational issues.
  • Responsible, proactive, and comfortable handling multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin), both written and spoken.
  • Customer service or e-commerce experience preferred.
  • Fresh graduates with strong learning attitude are welcome.
